These days traffic is increasing day by day. A lot of toll taxes are collected on highways & motorways everyday all around the globe. The conventional way was to stop every car and collect it, but with the increased traffic on the daily basis, this would result in huge traffic jams even on the highway. Automation Systems have now eased this process by introducing barcode system in the toll collection process. It works in such a way that a barcode sticker is placed on the car in a way that it can be easily accessible by the barcode scanner at the toll tax collection centers. A person can submit toll tax for his next ten trips, now what will happen is that when ever he will pass the toll tax collection centre, barcode scanner will access the information, and deduct the toll tax from his balance amount. So he won’t have to stop to pay his toll tax. Similarly vehicles carrying heavy amount of shipments are moving on the highways. They have to pay tax according to the weight they are taking. Previously all the shipments were weighted one by one, but now the truck can just move on a conveyor which can weigh the shipments which doesn’t require the shipment to be taken out for weighing.
